Sulbutiamine Review: My Uneventful yet Hopeful Experience

Awhile back, one of my friends suggested I take sulbutiamine. He told me that he’s always had a hard time distinguishing nootropics effects from placebo, but with sulbutiamine, it was certainly not placebo.

He claimed to achieve a great energy and motivation from supplementing with sulbutiamine and highly recommended it to me. I did some quick reading and decided I’d give it a shot.

My Experiences

When it finally arrived, I took the suggested dose of 700mg. I certainly felt something, but I wasn’t sure what I was feeling.

Within half an hour I ended up dozing off and sleeping well. I felt refreshed and strong when I woke up from my power nap, but I was fairly let down that sulbutiamine powder had put me to sleep.

There are a number of explanations for what went wrong. For instance, I took it when I was already fairly tired, and on top of that I was in a dark room listening to calm music

Word on the Street

A lot of people swear by sulbutiamine claiming it is undeniably the best nootropic currently available. They say it’s a great caffeine substitution and creates incredible focus.

Some people say they were able to clean their entire house and play with their kids for hours without feeling exhaustion. I work with kids almost every day at an elementary school, and I certainly know how exhausting it can be.

Maybe Next Time…

I think I will try taking sulbutiamine again. Next time, I’ll take it several days consecutively to allow it to “build up” in my system, and I’ll experiment with different dosages. I will also control the time of day I take it and see if it actually potentiates lethargy. It would be amazing if I could achieve these same results as what people claim online, but so far, I’ve experienced a satisfying nap.
